Gifts of Securities
Gifting securities is one of the most effective methods of tax savings, and in some situations, can allow for a charitable income-tax deduction or the potential to claim additional deductions from losses as well as charitable gifts.

Important note: To take full advantage of the tax benefits of gifting appreciated stock, your shares should not be sold but rather transferred to ARF.
Please instruct your broker to include your name and address so we can thank you for your gift, as this information is often not included unless requested by the donor.
